I have not been feeling well lately. Because I have understood what everyone feels, the Zeitgeist, and I know how it could have been fixed. Avoided. It wouldn’t have even been so difficult.
I know why Trump was elected and the right is on the rise in Europe. I know why democracy is backsliding.
I know why Ukraine was invaded.
I know why my mum and dad are overworked and my friends cannot find work.
I know why the culture war is ripping people apart.
I know why a single paycheck can’t support owning a home and supporting a family of four.
I know where the optimism went. I know what happened to hope for a better future.
I can’t live like this.
